E Construction Ltd. (55 Years 1954 to 2009)

E Construction is one of Western Canada’s largest paving contractors, with over 300 employees helping us provide our products and services throughout Alberta and the Northwest Territories. Our equipment fleet and shops are among the most modern in our business and we are proud of the 900 plus pieces. E Construction owns more asphalt plants than any other paving contractor in Alberta, this allows us to be highly mobile and cost competitive in almost any market in the province. The municipal road building and reconstruction markets we are involved with include base gravel, soil cement, lime stabilization, concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters and underground services. E Construction is divided into four divisions with our head office and state of the art repair shop and fabrication facility located in Edmonton.

Safety

Safety is a top priority in our company. In 2008, the Works Alberta group was pleased to be awarded the International Crystal Woodpecker Award from Colas. The Woodpecker Award is the highest safety award achievable by all Colas companies worldwide. In 2008, Works Alberta achieved a safety rating of 0.00, an accomplishment that E Construction, as a subsidiary of the Works Alberta group of companies, was very proud to contribute towards.

Each division is equipped with a support team consisting of Division Managers, Project Managers, Shop Personnel, Accountants, Estimating Personnel and Administrative staff. This support team is there to ensure that our customer’s needs are exceeded.
