East Division

Cold Lake is situated in the northeast corner of Alberta, 20km from the Saskatchewan border and 300 km from Edmonton.  It is home to Canada’s largest air force base, 4 Wing Cold Lake.  It also sits on the Athabasca tar sands and in-situ extraction of heavy oil is one of our main industries.
Everall Construction Ltd., now E Construction, has had a presence in Cold Lake since 4 Wing was first constructed in the mid 1950’s.  A full time office and plant were established here in 1988.  Our area of coverage extends from Vermilion to Smokey Lake to Lac La Biche and includes Elk Point, St. Paul and Bonnyville.  Our work generally consists of rehabilitation of existing roads and streets, new subdivision construction and commercial parking lots.  We produce in excess of 40,000 tonnes of hot mix asphalt annually.  At peak times, approximately 30 people are employed in our operation, not including sub-contractors.
