Overview

E Construction has been operating in the Fort McMurray region for over 30 years. We are a full service general civil contractor located in the city of Fort McMurray and service the entire Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo with as many as fourteen crews. Our Main office, asphalt production facility, yard and repair shop are located on Hwy 63 on the north end of the city.

Safety

E Construction North pledges to do its utmost to maintain a safe and healthful work environment and contribute to all of our customers efforts to raise safety awareness. We are proud of the safety record we are able to maintain with this approach boasting not a single time loss injury accident in the last six years.

We maintain an “Advanced” safety prequalification with Canqual CQbase an on line contractor data management and due diligence assurance system.

We also maintain HSE prequalification with the Canadian HSE Registry which is another online HSE performance measurement company.

We are members and have had board representation on the Alberta Construction Safety Association.

Operations

Our list of accomplishments in the region is extensive with highlights that include paving of four airport and aerodrome runways, aprons and taxiways. One of these aerodromes was a complete green field design build delivered on time and on budget to an oil sands developer. We have completed utility installation and street construction that service several thousand lots in the Cities various residential subdivisions. We also complete the vast majority of existing roadway rehabilitation for both the provincial government and the Regional Municipality. Our operations include; site grading and development, gravel production, granular base construction, underground utility installation, asphalt paving and civil concrete installations.
